Position: Thermal Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6 Months

 Qualification Summary:

• 5 to 10 years in thermal design of consumer electronics products.

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Thermal Design, Heat Transfer or Fluid Dynamics is          preferred or a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Highly motivated individual.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• Experience with manufacturing, thermal components supply chains and cross-communications between          design, ODM and third party vendor teams

• A solid understanding of materials and mechanical behavior of materials

• A good balance of experimental and theoretical methods to obtain insight into thermal phenomena, fatigue,      fracture and material behavior

Primary responsibilities include:

• Perform simulations and conduct validation experiments

• Define and guide thermal experiments to characterize thermal materials, components and systems; Analyze   thermal test data and prepare reports.
