Position: Automation Tester

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: long term

Mandatory Skills:

Skills requirement

- 5+ years of experience in development and/or QA automation

- 3+ years of strong technical competency and experience with web applications and web services

- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies

- Must have strong Browser Testing Experience

- Strong knowledge of Device and breakpoint testing for responsive

- Need to have ability to translate design specs to browser behavior

- Need to understand browser caching

- Experience in Usability Testing

- Experience in Accessibility Testing

- Must have experience with automation tools like Junit, TestNG, Rake, Rspec, Cucumber, Selenium RC/WebDriver

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Python)

- Experience with using Firebug or Fiddler for testing

- Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data

- Knowledge of iOS/Android development, Javascript, HTML5

- Experience with mobile devices such as Mobile Complete’s Device Anywhere, Perfecto Mobile, or Android’s Robotium

- Experience utilizing Xcode, iPhone SDK, or Android SDK/E

- Experience in testing end-user interfaces on various platforms such Windows 7, MAC OS for different browser types

- Experience with Tools like Rally, Jira, Sharepoint, Wiki etc

- Solid understanding of relational databases RDBMS and scripting of a complex SQL queries

- Strong problem solving skills

- Excellent verbal , written and listening communication skills with an ability to influence and develop relationships with key partners

- Experience in working in a cross functional organization with multiple stakeholders

- Proven ability to work in a team environment

- BS in computer science, computer engineering or relevant technical discipline required
