"- Overall experience of 8 -12 years
- Specific Industry (General discrete, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Industrial Equipment etc.) experience for at least 3 years
- Experience as a techno-functional consultant in at least 2 direct client engagements
- Hands on experience/expertise in design/development/customization on One (preferably two) MES COTS products - e.g., Rockwell, GE Proficy, Apriso, SimaticIT
- Familiarity with S95 or other MES industry standard models is a plus
- Good aptitude and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel as demanded by consulting engagements on an ongoing basis"
Preferred Skills*
"- knowledge of Automation and SCADA layers and integration aspects
- working knowledge of SW (Java/.Net) and Data/object modeling and SDLC processes is desirable
- Experience in user acceptance testing and plant roll out of MES systems
- A self-starter who can work independently without direct supervision"
Job Roles/Responsibilities*
"- Process/Functional Consultant will be working on client projects involving MES layer - Shop floor Production, Quality , Inventory functionalities
- Conduct Workshops to gather user requirements and functionalities and generate the Functional specification document
- Identify and document current processes, analyze them and recommend future processes with appropriate gap analysis
- Contribute to / develop a to-be solution architecture, data/object models, technology/platform selection spanning SCADA, MES layers and ERP integration
- Help develop solution roadmap covering detailed planning, multi-site deployment view and benefit realization strategies
- work with business users, IT and other stakeholders from the client side in getting the necessary buy-in
- Own/develop and deliver outputs from the above activities
- Own/Enable building high performance consulting teams"
