	The J2EE Sr developer will be responsible, in coordination with the database team, for the design, development, testing & implementation of modules for the new strategic rollout of the Global Employee Due Diligence Platform. The candidate will join the technology team that will be responsible for delivering a robust, scalable and a high quality application to be utilized by Compliance users and employees in multiple locations around the world. Ability to understand & dissect business requirements toward understanding impact on application code, its performance & data processes is crucial as is the skill to troubleshoot and fix issues in developed code. The candidate will report to the Global EMDD Technology manager who is responsible for the successful deployment of the global platform. Technical skills: • Proven experience with developing solutions in J2EE, SPRING, HIBERNATE. • Proven experience in Java integration with back-end databases like Oracle • Good working knowledge of Release management processes & continuous build concept using tools like Ant/Maven. • Experience developing for Websphere application server is critical. • Experience integrating JBPM is strongly desired. • Any experience integrating with Documentum is a plus. • Exposure to shell scripting & Autosys scheduling is a plus. Domain expertise: • Compliance and/or Financial domain experience is a must. • Java certification is preferred. Soft skills: • Candidate is expected to be a strong team player and work effectively with cross-regional teams. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions across the team to derive solutions. • Ability to troubleshoot effectively • Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work. • 7-10 years experience in related role
